Penelope Brown is a project started by internationally renowned artist, Natasha McHardy. McHardy makes colourful, whimsical limited edition prints on wood. Her work is polished and collectable, unlike mass produced computer generated prints. As her art practice climbs, so does the value of these pieces even though they are not part of her exhibition portfolio.
Every year, Natasha adds one new print design and hand-produces them in a few colour ways. Once they are sold, they are never reproduced again. Penelope Brown also produces a line of greeting cards. Her work can be found in select Vancouver stores and art markets, and online at her Etsy store.
Liddleworks has developed an online presence via social media platforms. We also convinced her that a line of greeting cards would offer an entry level purchasing object. Currently, we are developing an online wholesale catalogue to increase sales throughout Canada.
